Winner of the ‘Queen’s Awards for Enterprise 2019’ Innovation award, the HeightRider 28 (HR28) 4×4 is one of a new generation of environmentally conscious work platforms from Niftylift. Combining advanced power-source technology with efficient four-wheel drive, the HR28 4×4 delivers outstanding performance from a compact, low-weight design.
The HR28 is substantially lighter and more compact than its competitors and with a smaller tail swing. This, coupled with its excellent manoeuvrability, means it can work in more locations than its larger rivals and be transported more economically. Better utilisation and lower transportation costs make the HR28 a more profitable machine to own and operate.
Proportional controls deliver smooth, measured operation while 180º cage rotation and a 150º fly-boom allow precise positioning anywhere in its vast working envelope.
The HR28 4×4 is available with two power options, battery-only or Hybrid power:
Developed specifically for applications or environments where a Diesel engine may not be permitted, the battery-only option offers efficient, quiet, zero-emission operation.
The hybrid option incorporates Niftylift’s revolutionary second-generation Hybrid power system. It uses a smaller, power-optimised EU Stage V-compliant Diesel engine, supported by the machine’s electric motor when extra power is needed. This maintains power and performance while reducing fuel consumption for maximum efficiency. The innovative ‘Diesel Re-Gen’ feature also recharges the batteries, giving a ‘fast charge’ whenever the machine is idle, and the engine is running. In addition, an electric-only mode allows zero-emission operation, making it ideal for indoor use or quiet, clean operation.
The HR28 4×4 also incorporates Niftylift’s multi-award-winning SiOPS®. This safety system eliminates sustained involuntary operation by instantly stopping machine movement if the operator is pushed onto the cage control console, allowing them to recover their situation safely.
The HR28 4×4 is also fitted with Niftylink® as standard. Niftylink® is a powerful telematics tool that provides data insights on your Niftylift’s health, activity and location. These insights help users understand machine usage, performance and life cycle, and real-time error-code reporting.
